The CEF is focused on raising funds to support innovative and inclusive programs to support arts education, student leadership, and enhance the overall learning program of our students.
Major fundraisers include:
Annual 4th of July Fireworks Sales: Each year, staff and parents from all eight schools and the District office join together to manage a fireworks booth for the community. Volunteers are needed to staff the booth from 10am to 10pm daily from July 1-4. Call 714-228-3131 for volunteer information.
Centralia Cares Fundraiser: This is an annual opportunity to encourage each district employee to have a voluntary donation withdrawn from their paycheck and have this amount donated on a monthly basis to the foundation. Each employee is encouraged to donate a set amount monthly. With over 500 district employees, simply having half of our employees donate $10 monthly will contribute $25,000 annually to the foundation!
Silverado Days: Each year, members of the Centralia community sell tickets to Silverado Days, retaining 50% of the ticket price. In addition we invite supporters to participate in the annual Silverado Days 5K event. A portion of each participant’s entry is given to the Centralia Education Foundation. Do something healthy for yourself and help out a good cause. Run/walk the Silverado Days 5K!
