The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) test results for 2017 will be available to the public on Wednesday, September 27. The data contains results for individual schools, school districts, and the entire state. Data is also available for specific groups including males, females, and ethnic groups. This is the third year that the California Department of Education collected test data online and replaced the outdated paper-and-pencil student testing system. CESD Parents received a print out of their child/children's scores during the summer. While the scores allow us to evaluate district-wide programs, they are not the only data we use to evaluate our progress.
Centralia's 2017 scores for the CAASPP tests in English language arts and mathematics remained steady and retained the strong gains that students had made in 2016.
