Centralia Elementary School District Responds to Las Vegas Tragedy

Dear Centralia Families,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire Centralia School District staff, I wish to convey our deepest condolences to all families who have been impacted by the tragic incident that occurred in Las Vegas this Sunday.

Unfortunately, this incident has directly affected students and staff in our community.  Our priority is to come together as a community and extend support to any staff member, student, or family who is in crisis at this time.  Our District Crisis Team has been called into action.  We ask parents to assist us in helping our students who may need additional support in coping with their feelings.

Many in our community know that one of our very active parents, Mr. Brian Fraser, parent at Miller School, was fatally shot during this incident.   We appreciate your respect of privacy to the family during this challenging time.   Our deepest sympathies are with this family and all others affected.

Many are asking how they can help.  Here is a link to a GoFund me page created for the victims of this event.  Additionally, I wish to share helpful links with you to assist you in helping your child deal with this tragedy.
